Ambassador Raymond Burghardt was the 2nd US Ambassador to Vietnam and worked as a foreign service officer during the war.

James Zumwalt (center) is the son of Admiral Zumwalt (pictured right), who gave the orders to use Agent Orange during the war. They returned to Vietnam in the early 90s to initiate a joint US/Vietnam study on the long lasting effects of Agent Orange.
